Shu-Chen is a full time ceramic artist. Originally from Taiwan; primarily self-taught, she lives and works from her home and studio in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Her award winning Raku vessels are sought after by collectors in Canada and abroad. “Working with clay has brought me much joy in life. What I value most is the challenge of self-realization through the creative process. While others may write a daily journal, my diary is written with clay. Each one of us has our own contribution on this Earth, for an Artist, it is my goal to pursue excellence through my Art.”
