Nestled below the Niagara escarpment and amongst a carolinian forest, Melanie has been creating her one of a kind pieces for nearly 20 years. She studied at Sheridan College in the arts and craft programme under the tutelage of glass master Amy Bond. The force of nature surrounding her is embodied in her art. Melanie's work has been described as organic, ice like, wonky with a touch of whimsy. Inspired by the liquid nature of molten glass, she likes to create vibrant and unusual designs. Melanie's work has been featured in haute couture fashion shows internationally, galleries across Canada, and coveted by fashionistas all over the world.
