Jacintha Krish
A visual artist, designer and art instructor for a few decades, Jacintha’s work is primarily in acrylics and mixed media as well as watercolour and ink. While constantly experimenting with pushing the boundaries of colour and form has made her ivolve into the artist she is today. Her love of teaching art has broadened her horizons and helped her identify the needs of her collectors and students and their various forms of artistic pleasure.
Her inspiration lies in the rich biodiversity of Canada. The sights and sounds of the world around her constantly challenge her to paint the ever changing mosaic that is quintessentially Canadian. Her style is contemporary Impressionism, her palette is bold colour. Her primary subjects include seasonal landscapes and florals and also figurative work focusing on women of diverse ethnicities.
A multiple award winning artist, she shows and sells her work in galleries in the Toronto, Burlington, Southampton, Ottawa and Niagara On The Lake as well as in the US, UK and Asia. Her work is featured and sold in Saatchi Art International.
